Golf Course Planning

Golf & Land Design has specialized in the planning and construction of golf courses, since 1984. We provide next to all planning activities – from the preliminary layout to the development of technical details. This will range from a first layout and cost estimate through all planning and permission phases, site supervision, cost control and, if desired, after-service to the client. We offer complete planning services and site supervision for your project, both to Central European standards (e.g. the German HOAI) or to International and English standards
We offer design services for new projects, redesigns and renovation of golf courses.

Landscape Design

Golf & Land Design has gained extensive experience in large and small-scale planning as well as landscape architecture projects. We pride ourselves in our ability to work with a wide range of projects such as: Leisure & Sport, Housing Concepts, Object Planning and Master Planning.

Beyond normal services

Golf & Land Design can provide services which go beyond the standard services you will find at other golf architecture firms. Thanks to our internal programming of software we are able to speed up tedious CAD related work which means we produce high quality plans quickly, giving us more time for the creative part. We can for example setup websites for presenting your project and offer cloud based solution for sharing files and we can offer clients a cost efficient 3D renderings as images, videos or even ready for full-size golf-simulator, for better understanding of the design, for safety analysis or for marketing purposes.

Fontana Golf Resort - Austria

The 18-hole Championship Course was a venue of the European Tour in Austria from 2006 to 2009 and is presently a proud venue candidate for hosting the 2022 Ryder Cup Match!

Velaa Private Island - Maldives

Velaa Private Island in the Maldives opened in 2014. The ultra luxury island includes the Velaa Golf Academy by Olazabal which Golf Digest described as “practice in paradise” and as “the world´s most exclusive academy”, designed by Jose Maria Olazabal

Secret Valley - Cyprus

Branded as Tony Jacklin Design, this 18 hole Championship Golf Course including the large academy are already getting great reviews after it’s soft opening Autumn 2013.

Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort - Egypt

Generous pool with bar and island, surrounded by an integrated path system and canopied places with smaller pools. In addition to this private green areas have been formed in front of the apartments either with hedges or natural stone walls.

Rosa Private Golf Course - Poland

One of the largest golf investments of this type in Poland consisting of a 18 hole course, driving range, large practise area and bunkers for training.

Welten Golf Resort

Located in Bac, Slovak Republic this 18 hole course has been in operation since 2007. Project includes 18 holes Par 72 including 3 short practise holes, a chip- & putt course in the park and a large driving-ranges. Plans have been prepared for a second 18 hole course. http://www.welten.sk/

Thermengolf Fürstenfeld Loipersdorf

A 9-Hole extension and 18-Hole redesign of an existing golf course in the spa region of Austria. Golf & Land Design was in charge of all plans, construction and project management. Three separate design, planning and construction phases between 1998 and 2003. http://www.thermengolf.at/

Royal Balaton Golf & Yacht Club

Location: Balatonudvari, Hungary 18 hole Resort Golf Course with Practice Facilities, Housing and Yacht Club on Lake Balaton. Scope of Services: All aspects of golf course design. http://www.balatongolf.hu

Rosa Private Golf Course

Our golfing highlight in Poland. Rosa Private Golf Club is located 14 km south from Czestochowa. It is definitely one of the biggest golf investments of this type in Poland. The complex consists of: * 18-hole course * driving range * 1500 square metres of putting green * chipping green….
